Title: Gustar
Summary: This lesson plan addresses grades 9 -12 at level 1 Spanish. The learning goals and outcomes are clearly stated: the student will express likes/dislikes of an item/activity in Spanish as well as express likes/dislikes of a classmate; as well as the QCC Standard it meets: Express likes and dislikes, emotions, and agreement and disagreement. In this lesson, the teacher uses a Power Point presentation to introduce the use of "gustar" and assesses the students understanding with a worksheet.

Evaluation: I believe this is an excellent lesson plan for introducing the use of the verb "gustar". The objectives are clearly stated, though not in the ABCD format discuss in class. The plan provides the Power Point file as well as the handout file for the teacher to download/save for use in the classroom. The activities provide the student with time to understand the use and practice in a partner activity before being assessed. I think that using Power Point to present the information provides students with an alternative method to learning the material.
